This program, presented by a neuropsychologist and an elder law attorney, will discuss:
• the role of a neuropsychologist in objectively evaluating mental capacity for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment
• the primary uses of a neuropsychological assessment
• the levels of mental capacity needed to execute Powers of Attorney for Healthcare and Property
• the rights and responsibilities of an agent under power of attorney
• the guardianship process
• the role, authority, and powers of a guardian

This program awards 3.0 CEU credits to Illinois nurses, professional counselors, social workers and nursing home administrators. License number required
