There are approximately 1.5 million lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) older adults in this country. Many LGBT older adults have experienced discrimination and stigma in their lifetime. LGBT older adults are less likely to seek services from aging service providers for fear of discrimination and face complex challenges and barriers in long-term care settings. This interactive workshop will provide practical guidance, including program and policy recommendations, on developing inclusive programs and services for LGBT older adults.
