Patient Centered Care: Beyond the Diagnosis

Wednesday 06/20/2018 05:00 PM - 06:45 PM
Heritage Woods of DeKalb
2626 N. Annie Glidden Rd., DeKalb, IL 60115

So many things matter: family, faith, the past, the present, the future, regrets, accomplishments, hope, peace, grace. What does religion or faith mean? How can it/does it help? What does it mean to review a life--whether well-lived or not-so-well lived? What might distress look like? How can we help those with?

Presented by: Pam Lojewski, Spiritual Care Coordinator, Heartland Hospice
Rev. Pamela Lojewski has been with Heartland Hospice as a Spiritual Care Coordinator for more than 8 years. She previously served as a pastor to 2 Lutheran (ELCA) congregations in southwest Wisconsin. Her chaplaincy care started with study and work as a chaplain at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in LaCrosse, WI.
