Spirituality in Older Adults and Vulnerable Populations

Explore the role of religion and spirituality in the lives of older adults and other
vulnerable populations. Participants will learn about the concept of spiritual struggle and how it may impact care and common emotional problems such as depression and anxiety. Learn how to respond, and how to access Tikvah: The Jewish Chaplaincy Community Initiative.

DR. STANLEY G. MCCRACKEN, PH.D., LCSW, RDDP
Lecturer at the University of Chicago, School of Social Service Administration with 40 years of experience as a clinician, educator and consultant.

RABBI DR. JOSEPH S. OZAROWSKI, BCC
JCFS Rabbinic Counselor and Tikvah Chaplain with a distinguished career as a pulpit rabbi, educator, author and chaplain.
