When a diagnosis of a chronic medical condition is given, not only do you need to prepare medically, you need to prepare legally. This session will address important topics such as Powers of Attorney, Living Trusts, Wills. What legal options are available in planning and paying for long-term care? How can Medicare, Medicaid, long-term care insurance and personal care contracts maximize a person’s quality of life?

This program awards 1.0 CEU credit to Illinois nurses, professional counselors,
social workers and LNHAs. License number required.
